# Campsites open in Lower Mainland & Sea-to-Sky this weekend

As of Thu 15 Oct 01:17 PT, 2 of the region's 25 campgrounds have a site open for Fri 23–Sun 25, both nights — 7 sites between them. The most room is at Alice Lake, with 4 sites open.

The parks within a short drive of Metro Vancouver: the Fraser Valley, the Sunshine Coast and the Sea-to-Sky corridor up to Pemberton.

Counts are sites open for BOTH nights of Fri 23–Sun 25 as of Thu 15 Oct 01:17 PT. Parks are grouped into Lower Mainland & Sea-to-Sky by their coordinates, because the reservation system publishes no region for them.

## Two roads carry almost all of it
Highway 99 runs north to Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton, while Highway 1 runs east through the Fraser Valley to Hope. The drive times here are estimates, not live traffic predictions. Check current road conditions before you leave. Sunshine Coast parks also require a ferry crossing from Horseshoe Bay.

## Full today can change
In our first 8 days (2–9 Sep 2026), a booked BC Parks site-night came back 16,551 times. 57% of those were for stays within the next seven days, and 29% were booked again within the hour. That is what we saw, not your odds.
