# About Parks Open

An independent service. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to BC Parks, Parks Canada, any provincial park system, or Camis.

## What it is
Parks Open answers one question — where can I camp on these dates? — from live reservation data. It reads the public reservation systems continuously, works out which sites are open for a whole stay (not just some night in the range), and shows the answer by park, by site, and by what fits your rig. When the park you want is full, it watches for cancellations and emails you the official booking link the moment a site frees up.

## Where the numbers come from
Every availability figure is read from the official reservation system and stamped with the time it was observed. Nothing is estimated. If the feed is more than about thirty minutes old the site says so. Systems tracked today: BC Parks.

## What it never does
It never books on your behalf and never asks for your reservation-system password. Booking is handed off to the official site with a deep link into the exact site and dates.

## Who runs it
A small British Columbia company, built by campers. Contact: https://parksopen.ca/contact · Privacy: https://parksopen.ca/privacy · Terms: https://parksopen.ca/terms · For agents: https://parksopen.ca/agents
